Thursday Mishaps!
Again, it’s time to publish some unscheduled post and something totally out of bounds in
here.Although this blog is supposedly focused for a niche which is social media I’d be
reposting some if not many of the ambush blog posts I have and should have on my personal
blog.Well it’s primarily because most of the times that I will be writing unscheduled posts
are the times wherein I’m at school. And in our University, my personal blog was filtered and
categorized as nudity alongside my root domain which is pinoyteens.net
Today, I’d be talking about how bad I felt of being such an indolent brat lying on bed
because some stupid sickness.A sickness which I couldn’t even tell what. It’s like I have
colds, and felt feverish and felt as if the world was up against me.Have you had that same
feeling too? That insanely sickening feeling that makes you lump in bed after a whole night
of work?
Yes, indeed! I was sick moments ago, hours ago and now I’m dead guilty that it felt as if
I’ve never been sick since this morning. Why? because I insisted of going to school just to
pass my programming assignment.Damn I’m so doomed.I even need to slap my face twice just to
make sure I can handle the might-be rejection I could get after going inside the faculty
door.I’ve done that before, but that time I asked my prof to reschedule me because I suck
and I always have problems with <a href=”http://www.mark.pinoyteens.net”>Thursdays</a>.
Although I’ve promised to myself (as posted on my Facebook status) that I will quarantine
myself from blogging over night, maintaining at least 10 websites whenever I see the
scenario back home I always end up burning to dust. What can I do? the call for living always
rings a bell whenever my family tries to seek for money, for help.
It was hard. It’s really hard. But it’s my fault and there’s no other who I can blame because
of the unscheduled things that had happened to me.Time is precious! But I didn’t took care
of it carefully. And now, things related to my programming seems to become appalling.I’m
hopeless.
Now, you may not understand what I’m saying because it’s just too vague and complicated. My
life is as complicated as you are.But I’m still hoping that in a way you’ll understand.
I’m asking for another chance. The chance to prove myself, for I really, really need to
pass.It might be to late, to be precise 10 hours late.At least it never got any far? Here’s
my <a href=”http://www.mediafire.com/?8aeqb2ee9kmeulc#1″>assignment</a>.
The GT Cosmetics Reveal & Press Conference in Davao!
GT Cosmetics Manufacturing, a skin-care products company has unveiled the new look of their three top selling soap products in the heart of Davao City during last Friday’s press conference at Royal Mandaya Hotel. With improved packaging and formulation, founder and owner of the Cebu-based GT Cosmetics Manufacturing, Leonora Salvane is optimistic that their new soap products will tap new markets in the country.
Chemical Engr. Leonora B. Salvane also said that the change on their packaging was to target the young and high-end market, the youth, which are more skin conscious.Alongside the renewal of the packaging, they’ve also improved the formulation and enriched them with more herbal extracts, with highly refined coconut oil base that leaves the skin moisturized after using.
It may be an ambitious attempt but with the booming business industry of Davao and highly urbanized citizens Salvane is hopeful that they will be able to accomplish their target of a 100 percent growth in sales and orders throughout the year.
Later on an audio visual presentation was presented featuring the story behind its existence and the evolution of GT’s packaging. From that, I really saw how the old ones(packaging) looked like and I must say that it was a good decision to change the packaging of the soap. Not that it looked awful but I find it not so visually enticing.
Actually, I have no idea how their soaps looked like. Not until I saw in the audio visual presentation those rectangular blocks of soaps which looked very familiar to me.After the conference, they handed out boxes of soaps for the media and I immediately opened one ( Papaya) to smell if it has the same fragrance like the one my Aunt gave to my Mom a few weeks ago.My Mom let me smell it because it smelled like candy and I once used it (as my Mom suggested) to get rid of the developing pimples on my face.
But really that didn’t matter though (the pimples).Because to be honest, I went to attend the conference expecting to have cream products to treat the irritated part of my right cheek which was caused by the paint I put on my face the night before. But still I was grateful that I was given those souvenir items! (My mom got super happy too!)
Back to the conference, since I’m the only blogger present during the event I made sure I’d ask something. And so, I find out and they revealed that by next year, GT Cosmetics would be launching new products for its cream lines and other cosmetic agents.
GT Soaps are presented in three variants, GT Carrot Soap (anti-aging and skin whitening), GT Bleaching Soap (skin whitening) and GT Papaya Soap (skin whitening)…I’m actually using the Carrot soap as facial wash to renew the dead cells(in the form of scab) on my right cheek.
A blast at the Davao Bloggers Kadayawan Networking Event!
In commemoration with the 26th Kadayawan Festival (2010) here in Davao, the Avatar Media together with Jose Rafael Fine Coffee and Pens of Hope Davao hosted a Bloggers’ Networking Event.A simple gathering for bloggers who lives around the city.
I thought I’d be with the same folks I met during the Davao Food & Appreciation Tour,a couple of Press Conferences and lastly during the Creative Writing Workshop 2.But I was partly wrong. They were there though, those of which I met during the aforementioned events but this time new faces were introduced. Some of which I couldn’t recall the names and blogs, (but allow me to mention some). There was a guy named Kaiser and his droolsome Ipad,a cutie of Girlopinion.com and that guy who is said to be an expert programmer, also Eric Su who later introduced/launched their new web app called PICLYF (Piclyf.com).
Also, I was able to meet two popular Travel Bloggers, Enrico Dee(Byahilo.com) and Sinjin Pineda(Libotero.com).Nang! I envy them because all they do is eat and travel, I suppose.
Being the talkative that I am, I was able to chitchat with nearly everyone and super love it.And Oh, some not-s0-good impressions on some of the bloggers (I already met) changed as I get to (finally) talk to them and know them deeply in a way or another.I did not let the night pass by without asking some blog experts about the stuffs I really want to know, and how’d they react to my queries.
On that same night, I first mentioned my ownership of the latest website I created “Pinoyzine.net”.Haha!And how can I ever forget the exclusive menu Jose Rafael Fine Coffee has offered us? With a list sumptuous food & drinks damn you will definitely go ask for more! And you guys deserved a special post on the food blog I just created. What a night! It was indeed a night of fun, chitchat and delicious snacks! :p
Thank you Avatar Media! Thank you Jose Rafael Fine Coffee! Thank you Pens of Hope! (I still owe Ate Leah a blog post and the art drawings I promised a few weeks back)
Sorry if this post may seem to be late and wasn’t chronicled well.My thoughts are just scattered as of the moment, got hit by a coconut on the head and will try to get my brain fixed later.
My Statistics Says. . .
I’ve been really into unintended mischiefs these days.Things just get to aggravate from dusk till dawn.In every split of a second I come to decide for my future.Together with my Professors at school, I shape what might get ahead of me.College seems to be the hardest and the toughest battle since my heart started beating. And up to now, I’m still struggling, trapped inside a gory war of numbers, computer languages and minors who just loves to butt in to my dreadful life.

Why do I suck on Thursdays?
I suck on Thursdays.I thought Thursday’s suppose to be a lucky day for Virgos! damn. . now I need to request my lab sched to be moved on Friday and be an official 2nd batch. It has been 3 weeks that I’ve been with the 2nd batch for the lab, because of my getting late problems.Ma’am doesn’t check the attendance unless you’ve managed to run the program though. But that was before, now she does and I think I won’t make it through if I keep on flunking my laboratory exercises.
But why can’t I make it through the time schedule of my lab exercises? (more…)
The re-Markable Encounter with a Gandaeversomuch!
Unlike most of other people’s encounter with the Royal Gandaness of kuya Orman Manansala. My encounter with him was like the most re-MARKABLE one.Not only that it was remarkable for we’ve only met once but believe me he is just the kind of person who’d be worthy of your attention. If you’d ask me why? Sorry to disappoint you but I couldn’t point it all out.Basically because it requires more than an infinite number of characters to define him in the truest sense.Requires more than his wit to define him by whole.
Although, I do have wild guesses and maybes but those are just few of the observations that I could get in the one day that we were together.Nonetheless, those were all that I would say “Its more than a pleasure to know him” on that very day.
He’s the BIGGEST! You can take that literally though (because he is really notable and cute in the irony) but if that wits can be ripped off at any corner of the house I would eventually grab one now to have myself and people around me the BIGGEST LAUGHS! but it’s only at Gandaeversomuch.com where you will really have the BIGGEST LOL!
He’s the Super! It was during the Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2010 that we first met.And it was right on the second day that I was able to chitchat with him.Few questions, few lines and a few of anything that we can talk about.Few of which I couldn’t even remember but still his happy face marks through my mind as I recall them.
We’re at Outland Adventure then and all of a sudden, just before he zipped down the line he shouted “Ding ang bato!” *positions* followed up with the super bonga ever so much shout(say scream) “DARNA” (which does not reminds me of Darna anymore, Orman replaced her na!).Oh diba SUPER!
And above all he is the super because on that very day he conquered his fear! He went through a dreadful and killer mountain trek and a breathtaking zip and made it!
He’s the BEST! To say that he’s only good on making people laugh is an understatement.Whereas to say that HE’S THE BEST on nearly everything is true enough to make me shut up!
As I’ve said we’ve only met once, but this coming August 7 (on his blogoversary) hopefully, we will meet again and I hope it’s going to be a start of FRIENDSHIP that will last for a long time.
More powers to you Orman Manansala! More powers to Gandaeversomuch.com!
P.S: As for the photo, hmm. . you should have asked me to carry you.I’m not bluffing I will definitely do.Mahulog man ako!
Ito ang unang beses na magtatagalog ako.I have been receiving a lot of negative feedback about a particular matter in school.Something I couldn’t really talk about since I might just hurt somebody.
